Portraits and HDR

Portraits and the use of High Dynamic Range Imagery (HDR) can be a wonderful addition or an daunting task…Finding the right combination of portrait and HDR settings is almost an art in itself. If you look for subjects that have a lot of character you will most likely have better luck. A weathered face will show better than, say a child’s unblemished innocence. These particular photos were for something called “Who is Dude’s Dad” As with any manipulation of a photo, don’t get carried away. By that I mean don’t over do it! The purpose of HDR is to bring out the highlight and shadow detail.
